one will be hired until an official Notice of Funds Availability (NFA)
is received at FloridaWorks.
The initial funding pool has been allocated, but in the instance that funds are not used by already approved employers, those funds might become available to those who applied late or who wish to apply.

Refer your preferrred applicants
If
you have applicants to refer to us for your job openings, direct them to the
FloridaWorks website to fill out the application which includes a place to note
preferred employer, preferred position, preferred job order number, etc.
Have them note your firm and the position on their application. See the
forwarded notice on nepotism from the state at the bottom of this email. You
will not be allowed to hire relatives of employers or supervising entities
under this programs. Rules such as this will be included in the contracting
process. Be sure any applicants you send to us submit their applications to :

Who is eligible?
There are several eligibility requirements to obtain employment under the Florida Back to Work Program. Documentation will need to be provided for each eligibility requirement.
1. Must be a United States citizen or a qualified non-citizen.
Documents required: Birth Certificate OR Passport OR Alien Registration Card OR Social Security Card (Combined with Drivers License or other Florida issued I.D. Must show eligibility to work for non-citizens)
2. Must be a Florida Resident
Documents required: Florida Drivers License or Florida issued ID.
3. Must have children under the age of 18 (or 19 if in school full time) living in the home or be a pregnant woman or
or have custodial children.
Documents required: Social Security Cards for each child
4. Family income must be at or below 200% of the federal poverty level. Job seekers will need to provide the source and amount of their family income for the past 30 days.
Documents required (if applicable):
Paystubs for the past 30 days
Proof of receiving TANF or Food Stamps
Proof of receiving Unemployment Compensation
Proof of Child Support payments or nonpayments from Child Support Agency
Any other source of income (except SSI or SSDI)
How to become eligible:
Job seekers MUST register on www.EmployFlorida.com and create or upload a resume to your profile.
Job seekers are then to bring all forms and required documentation to FloridaWorks and speak with one of our representatives to become eligible for the program.
*Please note: job seekers who meet the eligibility requirements are eligible to apply for Florida Back to Work Subsidized Employment Program positions. Meeting the eligibility criteria only allows for the application to be made, it does not ensure a job. Traditional application and interview processes will still apply.
