Florida Ready to Work - A program to measure work-based skills and aptitude, computer proficiency and career interests of job applicants.
CONNECT - A networking group, which provides employers with qualified displaced professionals with Associates degree or higher and/or 5+ years experience in an industry.

Veteran Tax Credit - tax incentive for hiring veterans
  • Tax reductions up to $9,600 during the first year of employment, depending on the qualified applicant and target group
Work Opportunity Tax Credit - tax incentives for private-for-profits to hire job applicants who have difficulty finding employment
  • Tax reduction up to $9,600 over two years, depending on the qualified applicant
Federal Bonding - incentive program to hire at-risk job applicants
  • Provides bond in units of $5,000
  • Provides insurance coverage for a 6-month period
Qualified Target Industry Tax Refund - tax incentive for employers looking to expand by at least 10 employees
  • Tax refunds up to $6,000 per new job created
Short Time Compensation - An alternative to layoffs by helping employers retain their workforce
  • Provides prorated unemployment compensation benefits to employees with reduced work hours and earnings

Healthcare & Biomanufacturing Occupational & Technology Training (HBOTT) - grant funding for occupational training in fields of healthcare, bioscience manufacturing and technology
  • Reimbursement up to 90% depending on company size
Quick Response Training - grant funding for customized training for new or expanding businesses
  • Reimbursable training expenses
Incumbent Worker Training - grant funding for customized training for existing for-profit businesses
  • Business must be in operation in Florida for at least 1 year to receive reimbursable training expenses
On-the-Job Training - grant funding for training participants while on the job
  • Reimbursements up to 50% of the participant's wage, training costs and additional training supervision
