In collaboration with the City of Gainesville, FloridaWorks, Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce Gainesville Regional Utilities, Santa Fe College and the Office of Equal Opportunity invites you to participate in this year’s annual Gainesville City Job Fair. The job fair will take place on Tuesday, September 10 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Martin Luther King Jr. Multipurpose Center, 1028 NE 14th Street.
Participating employers will have the opportunity to promote their company and speak directly with interested applicants about their open positions and company culture. Local HR professionals will conduct ‘Dress for Success’ and ‘Interview Skills’ workshops for interested job seekers at the fair. Set up will take place the evening prior to the fair. All participating employers will be provided with a six foot table, two chairs, access to copy/printer services and electrical outlets. Lunch and water will be provided.
Last year’s inaugural Gainesville City job fair attracted over 1,200 jobseekers. This year more than 25 companies have committed to participate. Vendors include Infinite Energy Inc., Meridian Behavioral Healthcare, Childhood Development Services, B&B Office Systems, Bear Archery Inc., and more.
